Cycling and serious cycling injuries rise in the last 15 years
New research, published today by Glasgow Centre for Population Health and Cycling Scotland, reports an 18% increase in the rate of serious cycling injuries and fatalities between 2004 and 2018. However, alongside this increase in serious injuries, overall cycling casualties on Scotland’s roads are reported to have more than halved over the past 20 years.
