Wee Jaunt Falkirk
We had an amazing Wee Jaunt Falkirk on 12th May 2019.
Looking for another Wee Jaunt? Join us at the Wee Jaunt Edinburgh, 8 September.
Is this ride for me?
This ride is aimed at families, as well as beginners and people keen to get back into cycling. The whole idea behind Pedal for Scotland is that anyone can take part. If you’re looking for a fun and active day out with the family, this ride is for you.
Why should I take part?
The Wee Jaunt Falkirk is the perfect opportunity to get kids out of their bikes and spend a fun day together. There’s a great atmosphere on the ride, the route is completely traffic-free and you’ll have the chance to get up close to the iconic Kelpies, the world’s largest horse sculptures.
What can I expect?
Starting your day off in the event village then head out for two loops of the Helix Park on your 7.5 mile ride. You can expect a well signed road route, totally closed to traffic, a great atmosphere as you ride, getting up-close to the Kelpies as well as refreshments and your well-deserved medal that kids love.

This is the limited edition, 20th anniversary design. It’s a technical t-shirt for the first time – a light, breathable material that wicks the moisture away from your skin.
It can be ordered during the registration process and will be sent to you with your rider pack prior to the event. Please make sure you check the adult size chart and kids size chart before ordering a t-shirt.
Technical material tends to be a tighter fit, so please choose your size accordingly. Children sizes are a guide based on an average child of the age range listed, so please choose the size accordingly to the measurements provided.
If you've registered already, you can add a t-shirt to your entry here.
Where does the route go?
The Wee Jaunt Falkirk takes place in the wonderful Helix Park in Falkirk. The route is on closed paths and roads, goes along the canal and takes in the Kelpies and the Falkirk Stadium. The route is 7.5 miles long which is two loops of the park; it’s a flat ride and the perfect length for younger riders.
**PLEASE NOTE: Final route is subject to change.**
