Pedal Falkirk is a fun, welcoming, free-to-enter cycling event for people new to cycling and families. It takes place on Sunday, 3 October 2021.

Pedal Falkirk will be a fun day out for families and people new to cycling, covering a 7.5-mile traffic free route, starting and finishing at the Helix Park in Falkirk.
The event will be held subject to local public health guidance and protocols.
Why should I take part?
This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy a marshalled, traffic-free cycling event based around Falkirk’s iconic Kelpies, the largest horse statues in the world and the largest piece of public art in Scotland.
What can I expect?
The ride will follow a 7.5-mile route with marshals the whole way round. After completing the ride you’ll enjoy an array of entertainment and refreshments at the finish area near the Helix Lagoon.
What do I need?
Just your bike and your sense of fun!
If you don’t have a bike, a limited number of adult and children’s bikes will be available to support riders and families. To access a free hire bike for the event please contact firstname.lastname@example.org .
How much does it cost?
Nothing! Pedal for Scotland events are free to enter! You will need to register for the event to take part.
Where does the route go?
The route starts and finishes in Helix Park and will take in two loops of a route through the park and canal towpath – taking in the majestic Kelpies statues on the way past.
