My son Connor (9) took part in Pedal for Scotland last year with his Uncle Andy and absolutely loved it. So when the chance came around again this year, (and just down the road from us, - the Wee Jaunt in Falkirk), he was eager to take part again with the whole family. [...] A happy consequence of training for the big day was that we were spending more time as a family and getting fit and healthy at the same time.
First time out on the bike in years, what a day for it! Looking forward to the next one.
First time doing a Pedal for Scotland event. Me and my daughter absolutely loved it and will be signing up for more events.
It was their (the kids') first official event and they absolutely loved it. Knowing they'd be getting a medal at the end kept them going.
